a night filled with life outside these dark walls i force myself into living
everyone having a good time with their girlfriends or whatever
a good time that i can't have.
nights seem longer then the daytime with all of its wonder
and the fun that happens in the city light off in the distance
i can see it all from my window in my dark room.
if only i can see what thee night is like but then the sun will come out,
sunlight that burns my eyes when ever it comes out from hiding in the darkness,
but soon the darkness will come again,
to repeat the cycle of day and night
